SAMUEL GLENN born 18 NOV 1806 - died 06 SEP 1858

... east quarter, thence East Twenty (20) rods, thence North Forty (40) rods, thence West Twenty (20) rods, thence South Forty (40) rods to the place of beginning. Also the South East quarter of the South West fractional quaarter of Section No. Nineteen (19) in said township, containing Fifty-Nine and 37/100 acres. And also Thirty (30) acres more or less, it being a part of the North East quarter of said Section No. Twenty-Nine (29), bounded as follows:
Commencing at the South East Corner of the said North East quarter thence West sixty (60) poles, thence North Forty (40) poles, thence West sixty (60) poles, thence North to the creek, thence up the creek to the branch, thence up said branch to where the land of A. Anthony and S. Glenn corners on Section line, thence South to the place of the beginning. The said Samuel Glenn left surviving him, his widow, Rachel C. Glenn and his children Nancy R. Glenn, Elizabeth Glenn, Thomas Glenn, Sarah Glenn, Clarissa Glenn, John Glenn, William Glenn, and Jane Glenn, as his own heirs at law.
That said Nancy R. Glenn married John W. Anthony and died in February 1889 leaving surviving her said husband and her children, Sarah E. Cornish, married to Harry Cornish and Ida B. Cornish married to Jacob Cornish.
That Elizabeth Glenn also married the said John W. Anthony and whe died in February 1863 leaving surviving her her said husband and her son Samuel R. Anthony and her daughter Nancy J. Mumper married to Cornelius Mumper.
That Thomas Glenn, is married and the name of his wife is Hannah Glenn, that Sarah Glenn married William Rittenhouse, who is living. That Nettie Glenn is the wife of John Glenn and that Mary Glenn is the wife of William Glenn; and that Jane Heeley is living but is a widow. That Clarissa Glenn married Ambrose C. Jett and died about the first day of January 1883, leaving her said husband surviving her and the following children: Ollie Jett, Irene Jett, Emery Jett and Albert Jett.
That on or about the 1st day of June 1878 the said William Glenn by a good and sufficient deed, conveyed his interest in said premises to the said Thomas Glenn.
That the said widow, Rachel C. Glenn is entitled to homestead and dower interest in said premises; that the said Sarah Rittenhouse, John Glenn, and Jane Heeley are each entitled to the undivided one-eighth part of said premises; that the said Thomas Glenn is entitled to the one-fourth part of said premises;that the said Sarah E. Cornish and Ida B. Cornish are each entitled to one-sixteenth part of said premises subject to the dower interest of the said John W. Anthony;
That the said Samuel R. Anthony and Nancy J. Mumper are each entitled to the undivided one-sixteenth part of said premises, subject to the dower interest of the sd John W. Anthony;
That Ollie Jett, Irene Jett, Emery Jett, and Albert Jett are each entitled to the one-thirtysecond (1/32) part of sid premises, subject to the dower interest of the said Ambrose C. Jett.
That no other parties than those above named have any interest in said premises whatsoever. That division and partition thereof and an assignment of homestead and dower can not be made except by a suit in equity.
That Ollie Jett, Irene Jett, Emery Jett, and Albert Jett are minor children and have no legal guardian or representative.
Forasmuch, Therefore, as your orators are without remedy in the premises save in a court of equity and to the end that John M. Glenn, Ollie Jett, Irene Jett, Albert Jett, Emery Jett, Ambrose Jett, Rachel C. Glenn, Samuel R. Anthony, Thomas Glenn, Hannah Glenn, Sarah Rittenhouse, William Rittenhouse, Nettie Glenn, William Glenn, Mary Glenn, and Jane Heeley who are made parties defendant to this suit may be required to answer the same, but not under oath, answer under oath being hereby ...
